Leslie obtained an Associates of Sciences
Degree from Richland College in Dallas, Texas in 1998; a Bachelors in Business Adminsitration Degree from the University of
North Texas in Denton, Texas in 2000; and a Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2007.
Leslie was nominated to participate in the Professional Leadership Program
at UNT. She won the Outstanding Student award in the Department of Management at UNT in 2000. She won a partial
scholarship to Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2004 and was able to maintain the scholarship and achieve Dean's
List status her entire time in law school. Leslie graduated from law school in the top 10% of her class.
Leslie obtained her license to practice law in 2007. She was admitted to practice
in federal courts in the Northern District of Texas in 2008.
Leslie has an 8 year old son named Skyler, a dog and a cat. She enjoys politics, music, fine wines and exotic
beers, and motorcycles.
